LIBRARY
	・ HIA's student library contains a variety of quality learning resources to help students improve their English in all areas. The library contains materials for: o Listening (including two listening stations) o Reading (for all levels; beginner to advanced) o Writing o Speaking o Exam practice (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, CAE, etc.) o Pronunciation o ...and more. HIA also has an first-class teachers' library, which means teachers are able to provide students with extra homework, activities and so on.
COMPUTER LABORATORY
	・ Students enjoy free access to the internet as well as many useful electronic resources, both online and on CD ROM.
COUNSELLING SYSTEM
	・ Counselling occurs twice every term (approximately every 6 weeks). This gives you the chance to express your feelings about school, homestay or your life in Australia in general. Counselling is also available to students at any time during the school's opening hours. The college's Student Contact Officer, Mrs Kyoko Yamahara is trained in psychology and has considerable experience in assisting students with problems and questions.
ALLIANCE WITH UNIVERSITIES & COLLEGES
	・ HIAGC has affiliations with some Australian tertiary institutions. Articulation agreements mean that a student may be able to enter one of these schools without having to take an IELTS test. Students may be able to enter the college based on HIA's academic recommendation. Students must meet all of the academic and attendance requirements of HIA's IELTS Preparation Course in order to be eligible.
